Hydroponic System

AIP include Hydroponic system to indigo coltivation.

Currently, the number of indigo farmers is declining, largely due to the limited compensation relative to the demanding labor involved. The rise in the price of indigo also impacts both indigo artisans and the final product price. Therefore, I propose a hydroponic cultivation method that utilizes the unique qualities of Japanese indigo (Persicaria tinctoria). Although hydroponic farming requires an initial investment, it offers stable maintenance costs and allows for vertical cultivation, making it feasible even in urban spaces. I hope that by involving more people in cultivation, we can establish a sustainable supply system for indigo

This hydroponic system allows for the cultivation of indigo plants with water recirculation. The vertical structure saves land space, making it suitable for urban landscapes or private spaces.

An expandable connection system is applied to this construction, allowing it to be adjusted to fit your space.

This system is designed for indoor installation and allows Japanese indigo (Persicaria tinctoria) to grow using hydroponic cultivation.

It accommodates 130 plants and requires only 0.85 m² of floor space.

The system is designed as a 4-meter-high wall divider.
Once the plants grow, they gently divide the space without completely blocking it.

An Arduino microcomputer monitors nutrient levels and sends the data to Google Sheets.
This allows you to check nutrient and water levels remotely at any time.

Automatic Nutrient Monitoring Sensor

Measures TDS in real time and sends alerts to your smart device.
Using ThingSpeak, the values are sent to Google Sheets to monitor nutrient and water levels.
